INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module offers the opportunity to experience the professional world of political work or the teaching of politics or history with a political aspect. Particular attention is paid to an appreciation of the ethical, practical and technical issues involved in such types of work.

There is a work experience evaluation by the host and you will write a self-reflective university report will evaluate your project formulation, execution, achievements and limitations.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
These Learning Strategies will occupy your time: 3x1 hour meetings - at the beginning, middle and end of the semester - with your Politics and History Placement Tutor; 30 hours spent in the work place negotiated with the 'employer' on an individual basis (viz: up to a 3 week block or extended programme of single or half-days); 117 hours of independent study and application to the critical report.
