Indicative Content
The aim of this module is to accelerate students in the achievement of their Degree Apprenticeship. Reflecting on your learning and growth so far, you will prepare for the middle stage of your apprenticeship by developing a plan to develop and build your portfolio of experiential evidence.

Upon completion of this module you will have a clear plan of how you will collate and present evidence of your experiences so far, and how you will identify gaps that have emerged going forward.

Topics addressed in this module may include (but not be restricted to):
• Portfolio structure and Apprenticeship Standards
• Types of evidence and how to analyse them
• Identifying experiential opportunities
• Learning theory and its application to work-based learning
• Tools for reflective learning

Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for this module is based around students committing a total of 150 hours of activities towards achieving the learning outcomes. These will be split between 39 hours of direct contact with a tutor and 111 hours of directed, guided and self-study, together with preparation for and completion of the assessment tasks. Learning support material will be provided for the module.
The module will draw upon a mixture of activities including lectures, web-based activities, case study analysis, relevant videos and in-class discussions, individual and group problem solving and self-directed learning.
