Module Learning Strategies
The learning strategy for the module requires students to commit 150 learning hours (including assessment) of this there will be 30 hours of class support and 120 hours of independent and self directed study. Support will also be given by access to Scheduled Tutor Office Hours to support the module.

12 hours of tutor led activity - workshops and case study activity

The concept of employee reward strategy and its implementation.
The key economic, psychological and motivational concepts which influence reward policy and practice.
The objectives and limitations of the job evaluation process.
The principles underlying performance management.
Managing the reward system -
- pay structures
- contingent pay
- special groups (e.g. directors, expatriates, sales)
- benefits and pensions

An individual assignment of 2500 words - 100% covers all learning outcomes.
