Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
Of the 150 hours available, the student will be exposed to 36 hours of tutor directed learning and 114 hours of self-directed learning.
Of the 36 hours tutor-directed learning, the student will be involved in formal tutor-led presentation, group work, seminar discussion and debate.
Module Indicative Content
Strategy and international HRM, the internationalisation process and the shifting IHRM agenda.
Managing the international HR cycle, the international aspects of recruitment and selection, learning and development, rewards, relationships, career development and repatriation. Contemporary issues in IHRM which may include diversity, mergers and acquisitions, rapidly development labour markets, and emerging economies.
Emerging issues in IHRM which may include international leadership, CSR and societal well-being, women in top international posts.
