Demonstrating and investigating the key concepts, skills and techniques in producing trade-standard content in review and lifestyle mode for a range of media platforms.

Facilitating detailed analysis of exemplary texts and products and group discussion.

Module Indicative Content
This module provides concentrated development of practices ? analysis, research and techniques ? to achieve standards of work in review and lifestyle journalism which meet the requirements of the industry. You will gain knowledge and understanding of markets for such work and how to address them as both freelances and employees. Examples of review and lifestyle journalism from newspapers, magazines, websites, radio and TV will be analysed. You will be required to submit all assessed work as freelances to specific publishers or other industry users.
