Essay 1500 words - Critical analysis of working as a Broadcast Journalist within Newsday 25% [Learning Outcomes 1, 2 & 4]

Portfolio comprising the treatment of a story for TV, radio and online 25% [Learning Outcomes 3, 4, 6]
INDICATIVE CONTENT
Students will work in news teams to devise and present pre-recorded packages, voice reports and
live news bulletins. Students will research, record, present and edit radio and television packages and online story treatments. They will select, write and present radio and TV news bulletins on newsdays, and provide online material.
LEARNING STATEGIES
Workshops usually weekly, but including some consecutive days, with preparation of broadcast packages outside of workshop.
