In consultation with the module leader, students will produce a portfolio of work consisting of either one large finished product (e.g. a new blog, App or YouTube channel) or several small test projects, based on their own idea for a new content-led product with a clearly defined target market.
They will present their product/projects to a panel of assessors, and as a handed in portfolio of work.

INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module continues work begun in Future Journalism 1 in understanding journalism's relationship with technology and the role of the innovator or entrepreneur. It focuses on putting that understanding into practice by introducing students to some of the new technology being used by journalists and guiding them in using that technology to develop innovative, content-led products of their own.
Future Journalism 2 has been designed to be studied both as a module in its own right, or as a follow-on to studying Future Journalism 1.
