A reflective report containing:
The continual assessment on performance within Stoke-on-Trent TV and
A critical analysis of development of progress of working within Stoke-on-Trent TV

A total of 30 broadcast artefacts facts (TV packages, online stories or evidence of research for longer form programming)

INDICATIVE CONTENT
Students will work within news and research teams at Stoke-on-Trent TV under the supervision of the station’s professional staff. They will be expected to carry out research for news and feature programming. They will be expected to develop to a professional standard of broadcasting to the point where they can produce TV packages, perform live links from the field, assistant-produce news, current affairs and feature programmes and present bulletins.
This will cover the entire range of news and current affairs, including hard news, politics, sport and features.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Day to day contact with the station’s professional editors and producers within a professional broadcast environment where the student is embedded in the news and programme-making team.
Plus regular tutorials with university tutors to monitor progress.
