Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will produce a portfolio of content both in class and in their own time, to include work set as in-class assessment pieces. The module handbook will detail assessment at the mid-term and final portfolio stages for each type of media and product. Assessment is designed to encourage and enable maximum creativity within professional games journalism standards.
Module Indicative Content
This module follows on from Games Blogging & Vlogging 2 to develop student's technical and creative skills further, in particular in relation to video packages and/or podcasting.
Students will also develop their entrepreneurial abilities and knowledge in producing content for gamers and the gaming industry. Including: understanding and building audiences, SEO, user interaction, producing effective content, and producing more technically and editorially complex video or multimedia packages or podcasts.

Weekly workshops of up to six hours, supplemented by seminars, lecturers from visiting industry speakers, and individual tutorials
