Module Indicative Content
The final project module aims to provide an opportunity for you to undertake and manage a significant project on an individual basis. This module will enable you to develop:
Project management
Communication skills
Application of analysis
Design methodology
Marketing
Data analysis
You should identify a project suitable to your specialism and career aspiration. You will write a project proposal detailing the expected deliverables of the project, documenting a proposed timescale and creative milestone points and identifying any potential constraints/barriers to your intended project.
After completing your Final Project, you will objectively evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your work, documenting the:
Challenges,
¿Knowledge attained
Learning experiences encountered during the semester
Areas of success and development
The main contact time spent with staff will be during weekly Seminars and Peer Reviews where the progress of the projects can be measured against the project proposals.
Module Additional Assessment Details
10% Written Assessment: Project Proposal including literature/resource review [LOs 1;2]
70% Digital Project Individual project produced as a written piece (5000 words) or audio/video consent (10 minutes) [LOs 1;2;3;4]
20% Written Assessment: Project Review that is an individual reflection on methodologies, techniques and project management skills/capabilities attainment. [LOs 1;2;3;4]
