Module Indicative Content
This 30 credit module will combine the learning of the English language used in a Broadcast Journalism newsroom with developing the skills needed to present on radio and television to a high level. The module aims at integrating the major theories and practical skills of presenting techniques for broadcast. It is expected that students will start this module with an IELTS score of 7.0 and finish with a score of 8.0 (or equivalent).
Module Learning Strategies
Theory and practice are integrated. Radio and television presenting are covered concurrently with individual and group work.
