- Skill in using internet-based resources for the legal workplace.
- Understanding of the law relating to information technology.
Module Learning Strategies
Whole group sessions
Sessions will be held twice weekly in dedicated IT classrooms; sessions are 3 hours weekly over 15 weeks (45 hours)

Study Centre activities:
This is a very practical module with activities centred on using a computer and a series of professional software applications. Students will experience a mixture of self-paced learning, discovery learning and practical demonstrations. It is envisaged that students will need to spend a certain proportion of their independent learning hours in the supervised Study Centres where they may obtain assistance. (45 hours)

Independent learning:
All tasks and activities as well as learning materials will be on Moodle. Students can access this outside of the College, with the result that students can develop independent study skills. It is envisaged that they will spend at least half of their independent study time outside of the college premises. (60 hours)
