Module Indicative Content
Linear Programming (LP): Formulation and graphical solution. Computer solution, interpretation of results, and sensitivity analysis.

Transportation and Assignment problems.

Application to problems arising in manufacturing and distribution.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A CLASS TEST length 1 HOUR covering all learning outcomes.
Module Learning Strategies
The material will be introduced over 10 hours consisting of a mixture of lectures, tutorial, and practical time. In addition, there will be a 1 hour test.

The independent study time will be spent practising the techniques met in class and preparing for the assessment.
