Module Details
Module Learning Strategies
24 hours lectures and 12 hours tutorials to support indicative content, student centred learning. Lab-based practical work and written work.

This module may be delivered full-time on a block delivery basis at West Cheshire College.
Module Resources
Laboratory facilities with circuit hardware and pc-based simulation software such as:-

Electronics, Electrical and Mathematics Principles
Electronics Workbench and/or PSpice
Module Additional Assessment Details
A practically based assignment (50%) and an end of module 2 hour class test (50%):-

1. The practically based assignment will involve 4 laboratory based practical investigations, computer simulation and written report, which will assess the measurement aspects of learning outcomes 1 to 4.

2. The end-of-module 2hr class test will assess the analysis and prediction aspects of learning outcomes 1 to 4.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
None
