Module Indicative Content
Financial Management:
Budgetary control, profit and loss, balance sheets, cash-flow/cash-flow forecasting, breakeven analysis. Managing sponsorship.

Personnel:
Team leadership, Team building, measuring effectiveness, job roles within a team. Span of control and communication. Performance and presentation. Staff welfare counselling, training and development.

Logistics:
Transportation law: weights, licences and taxation, driver hours.
Route Planning: Best and Alternative routes with timed schedules.
Equipment vehicle loading plans and order. Specifications for, meeting deadlines, routes and route changes. Racetrack garages, pit lane operation and protocol.

Module Learning Strategies
The module will be delivered by a lecture programme and a series of exercises. A one hour Lecture (1:n) A two hour Work based Tutorial with exercises (1:20)
