Module Details
Module Indicative Content
The content of this module will be delivered and assessed within the NCA Generic training phase and will include:-
Mathematical and physical science basis of navigation, avionic systems and electronic warfare
Meteorology
Aircraft Systems including navigation equipment,
Flight Planning
Module Additional Assessment Details
The module will be assessed by the RAF by means of a series of summative tests of each of the discrete elements.
A Portfolio containing verified evidence of completion of Generic training assessments, typically test results 100% (All Learning Outcomes)
Module Learning Strategies
The module will be delivered through classroom lectures, practical demonstrations and exercises in application
Formative 'speed tests' will be used to help the student prepare for graded assessments.
