Module Indicative Content
Introduction to Manufacturing Systems.
Study of a range of philosophies/methodologies for modern manufacturing.
Basic planning and control methodologies and tools applicable to manufacturing organisations including, for example; demand management, master production scheduling, capacity planning, manufacturing resource planning, enterprise resource planning, shop floor control techniques and inventory management. Discussion of manufacturing within the wider supply chain.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
Restricted to apprentice students from National des Arts et Metiers.
