A 6,000 word portfolio detailing the work carried out in the work place 70% assessing Learning Outcome 1, 2 and 4

Module Learning Strategies
Students will have a mentor within the work place who will meet with them once a week for 24 weeks. Students will have access to the study skills department within the university library, where they will gain advise on report writing, referencing and research.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
Must be registered on the Foundation Degree for Motorsport Technology.

Module Indicative Content
The Motorsport Work Based Project Portfolio module provides students with the opportunity to use and develop their specific technology skills, knowledge and experiences.
- The portfolio will involve all areas of their experience at the Work Place.
- Students will be expected to evaluate, analyse and reflect on their self development and the decisions made during the course of the Work Based learning portion of the course.
- It is expected that the projects will have an intellectual depth appropriate to a Foundation Degree, where the literature survey shows breadth as well as variety of sources to include internet, journals and books on a chosen subject.
- Students will be expected to drawn on experiences from a range of modules that they have studied or currently studying.
- Students will make presentations and answer questions on project progress and at a final project conference at the end of the course.
