Module Indicative Content
In this module the student will be introduced to and given the opportunity to develop the tools of project management as applied to the field of events, more specifically, entertainment and sporting events. This will include planning & scheduling, budgeting and cashflow, risk and impact assessment. Technological tools will be deployed as appropriate. Aspects of legislation covering events will be examined. Practical experience will be provided in applying these tools to a small scale prescribed event.
Module Additional Assessment Details
Exam 2 hours (50%) which will assess Learning Outcomes 1 and 3
Group report and oral presentation based on event (50%) which will assess Learning Outcomes 2 and 4.
