Final presentation 15 minutes, interview and a log-book. 80% Assessing learning outcomes 2 and 3
Module Indicative Content
The student must undertake a structured analysis of design techniques or production processes recently completed by their company.

The technical topics considered should be tailored to match the background of the student and negotiated between the module tutor, the student and his/her manager.
Module Learning Strategies
Induction - 1 hour (group of all students) or 1:1 on site or distance learning
Skype/telephone/email discussions (2 hours @ 10 minutes per week per student maximum)
Presentation and interview 0.5 hours
Module Resources
Appropriate work-based learning opportunities including interviews with designers/managers and access to equipment/laboratories in the work-place.
Module Special Admissions Requirements
Available for part-time students working in industry.
