Module Indicative Content
Students completing the advanced phase of the Foundation Degree in Aviation Studies will have acquired a range of knowledge and skills which will have been provided via NCA Specialist Phase and applied this via CE20006-2 Research Dissertation.
This module provides the vehicle for the student to reflect on how their training and their academic studies have developed them as an NCA and as a learner, how it has affected their working practices and how this has prepared them for their future career. This will involve career exploration in the context of their service career and beyond and career management by production of a career action plan.
Module Learning Strategies
Specialist Phase Training courses will be provided by through the student's employer. Students will be supported by an academic module tutor and a work based mentor in preparing a portfolio to satisfy the assessment requirements of the module. Reflection exploration and planning in a career context will be facilitated via VLE and access to Staffordshire University¿s Careersweb. Support will be provided by the University Careers Team.
