1 team based design project, max 2000 words (30%) which will assess Learning Outcomes 1-3.
1 2hr examination (70%) which will assess Learning Outcomes 1-3.
Module Indicative Content
Analysis and evaluation of performance of fossil fuel related clean technology systems.
Topics covered include:-
particulate control e.g. gravity settlers centrifugal separators, ESP, filters and scrubbers, fossil fuel combustion, pollution dispersal modelling and stack design.
