Module Indicative Content
The module can be completed by two different routes:
1. The student must undertake a structured and discrete piece of work relevant to their company. This could include a substantial, structured analysis of an advanced design technique, production process or implementation of a new technique, process or function.

2. The student must undertake a structured analysis of the technical authority given to them by the company and a self evaluation of their performance in relation to the coordination of the technical activities of others. The activities should focus on effective improvement in a technical management role.

The technical topic/ technical management role analysed should be tailored to match the background of the student and negotiated between the module tutor, the student and his/her manager. There should be no significant overlap between the specified work and work proposed for the Honours degree project modules.
