Module Indicative Content
Manufacturing Project Management contextualised by use of case study analysis. Incorporating:
1. Project context and scope. 2. Project management tools 3. Project framework. Work breakdown structures and outlines.
4. Project estimating 5. Project scheduling. 6. Project management processes. 7. Risk, change and quality management policies. 8. Project management methods. 9. Network Analysis.
Module Learning Strategies
Lectures (18 hours) (in order to introduce the subject and to guide the student) will be enhanced by the provision of detailed information and sources of information. Students will be encouraged to work in teams in order to analyse the case studies (although the reports will be individualised). This approach will aim to provide the experience necessary to achieve the learning outcomes of the module.
