An individual portfolio comprising:
-An individual research file and development work reflecting your contribution and participation in set tasks and group work.
-A team production file containing a range of possible creative solutions to a brief including; research, creative development, production paperwork and critical reflection.
-Finished outcome (Film/Print or Written content).
-Team presentation evaluating the success and challenges of the project

INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module provides you with a general introduction to the Foundation Year and to the importance of teamwork and the ability to work with others in order to develop teamwork and communication skills.
Through a short, intensive project group project you will work in multi-disciplinary teams and you will be encouraged to apply skills of visual and oral communication through tutor and student-led activities. You will learn how to effectively develop individual and group creativity, improve effective communication, realise the importance of individual contribution and understand the need to work together. Studio work will be supported by introductory lectures, seminars and demonstrations, each followed by hands-on practical activities. Work in progress will be monitored through group tutorials and critiques.
To extend the learning that takes place in class your will be expected to engage in independent study outside of timetabled sessions.
