ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
Written Examination – 120 minute duration constituting MCQ, short and long questions
Weighted at 50% (contributes to meeting LOs 2 and 3)

75% mark is required to achieve a PASS for the written element of assessment

Presentation – 20 minute duration. A presentation of case review demonstrating knowledge, reflection and understanding of the provision of sexual and reproductive health in an area of practice Weighted at 50%

Both elements of assessment must be passed to successfully complete the module.

INDICATIVE CONTENT
This module will focus on enhancing knowledge, critical understanding and analysis of issues relating to Sexual and Reproductive Health care in England
Throughout the module, discussion will include meeting individual needs regardless of age, race, culture and sexuality
Similarly professional legal and ethical issues will be critically explored throughout the module
Sexual and Reproductive Health Services within England
Contraceptive methods
Sexually Transmitted Infections
Effective Communication
Scope of Practice
Referral Pathways
Reflection on personal values and beliefs
