Indicative Content
Digital identity will give students the skills and knowledge necessary to develop and manage their digital profile/identity including the impact upon job opportunities and the organisation they run/work for. Content includes video and class demonstrations, demonstration of advanced Google search, multiple identities, public vs personal, protecting your digital identity including managing trolls, tools for building and optimizing one’s digital identity. This will include key Social Media platforms and demonstrate the impact of Employee/Business Digital identity upon Businesses.
Learning Strategies
Students will be exposed to a variety of tools for auditing, building, monitoring and optimising their digital identity. Learning approaches include live demonstrations, peer assessments of their profile, workshops, group activities and simulations, and real business experiences. Formative feedback will be provided throughout the module. Where possible this will also include guest lecturers.
The content of this module requires that students have access to up-to-the-minute data and can synthesise data and communicate information effectively using digital methods. Students will have access to WiFi in taught sessions and access to the IT laboratories and school studio facilities.

Assessment Details
Blog or Vlog (1000 words or 15 mins) containing a personal reflection covering and development of their personal profile from peer review/audit to their enhanced profile at the end of term. It is expected to include contemporary digital identity management issues (100%) LO1, LO2, LO3.
