Module Indicative Content
Introduction to the design, construction and application of various Electro acoustic instruments, amplification and acoustic instruments
Exploration of the main properties of these instruments including analysis of the acoustic and vibrational aspects inherent in their construction, usage and sound production.
Analysis of various instrument technologies with examples from string, wind, percussive and electro acoustic families.

The selection, practice and performance of a number of acoustic and electric compositions within the live environment. These will be group performances and will involve communication with other members in terms of choice of material, defining the type of arrangement and allocation of individual tasks within a group environment. Along with a study of artist performance and audience response to performance.
