Module Details
Module Indicative Content
The module will cover:
1. The types of E-Commerce strategies and methods that are currently available to market, promote and sell music products via internet gateways
2. The exploration of different types of music promotion and sales sites in terms of attracting the maximum commercial and promotional exploitation of music products and their effectiveness
3. Investigation of marketing strategies and techniques used to build up product profile, and ways in which commercial activity can be improved
4. Designing and developing a marketing campaign incorporating digital distribution and sales of a music product
5. The use of internet technology and bandwidth considerations to ensure effective digital distribution of a music product
Module Additional Assessment Details
100% in course assessment comprising of a written assignment weighted at 50%, and practical assessments weighted at 50%.

1. Group presentation 50%, assessing Learning Outcome 4.
2. Individual written assignment (1500 words) weighting 50%, assessing Learning Outcomes, 1, 2 and 3.
