Study of CE00146-1 Audio Processing or equivalent.

University Studio complex, including recording/control rooms and all associated equipment including digital and analogue mixing desks and recording equipment
Module Learning Strategies
This module will be taught by a combination of lectures and practical demonstrations. 1 x two hour lecture plus 1 hour practical of about 10 students. Much of the module will be of a practical nature, where you will be setting up and using the relevant studio hardware to gain an understanding of its function.

Module Indicative Content
You will be introduced to the Recording Studio environment and given tuition in the use of relevant Studio Hardware.
You will consider choice of equipment and how the elements are integrated to achieve a functional recording environment. You will become familiar with the application of Studio Hardware through a series of practical studio based sessions.

Portfolio of laboratory exercises and written work (100%) assessing Learning Outcomes 1, 2 and 3.
