Portfolio of laboratory exercises and written work (100%) assessing Learning Outcomes 1, 2 and 3.
Module Indicative Content
You will be introduced to the Recording Studio environment and given tuition in the use of relevant Studio Hardware.
You will consider choice of equipment and how the elements are integrated to achieve a functional recording environment. You will become familiar with the application of Studio Hardware through a series of practical studio based sessions.
Module Learning Strategies
2 hours per week lecture x 6 weeks
2 hours per week studio lab session (groups of 9) x 5 weeks
0.33 hours interview in week 12

University Studio complex, including recording/control rooms and all associated equipment including digital and analogue mixing desks and recording equipment
