3 hours per week lecture/practical (groups of 30) x 12 weeks
Module Indicative Content
Prepare and implement a live performance using software.
Perform a live remix and DJ techniques.
Incorporate prior knowledge gained in level 4 into a live environment. This will involve using MIDI, Audio and Audio effects processing.
Real-time time stretching, granular synthesis and audio warping.
Improvisation methods for use in a live situation.
Module Additional Assessment Details
Comprising:-
50% Creation and performance of a 25 minute live set with suitable room for improvisation. (Learning outcomes 1 and 3)
50% Written report (1500 words) documenting the development of your set (Learning outcome 2)
