Module Indicative Content
Anatomy and function of the ear, psychoacoustic principles and perception of sound, fundamentals of sound propagation, modelling and predicting the acoustic environment of recording spaces, critical understanding of acoustic defects, introduction to noise and sound isolation.
Module Learning Strategies
2 hours per week lecture x 11 weeks
1 hour per week tutorial (groups of 30)
2 hour practical on Clio reverberation systems (groups of 9)
