100% in course assessment comprising of
1. A practical assignment weighting 40% assessing Learning outcome 3
2. A written appraisal of the mixing process weighting 60% (typically 1800 words) assessing learning outcomes 1 and 2.
Module Indicative Content
You will build on the knowledge gained in Work Based Studio Techniques 1 and work based activities undertaken, to investigate digital multi track recording to record a music based project entirely within the digital domain. Using this recoding, you will then be introduced to principals of Surround Sound, techniques and speaker calibration to produce a Surround Sound mix.

Prior study of CE00930-2 Work Based Studio Technology 1 or equivalent.
