This will be a portfolio of assessment including practical work, interviews and presentations. To assess all three learning outcomes.
Typically this will consist of organising and running multitrack recording sessions, and then executing stereo mixes on analogue equipment and in modern DAW software. You will have to present your mixes and discuss the techniques you have used during an interview held during week 12.
INDICATIVE CONTENT
You will become familiar with the application of recording studio hardware and software through practical studio based sessions culminating in planning and running a multi-track recording session for a band followed by various mixing sessions on analogue/digital equipment and using modern DAW software.
