ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT DETAILS
1. Creation and performance of a live set centred around computer-based technology and/or live electronics (Learning Outcomes 1 and 4)
2. Written context and programme notes which detail the practical context of the performance including choices made around software and hardware and the conceptual and theoretical context of the performance and its place in the digital performance canon. (Learning Outcome 2 and 3)

This module aims to develop your skills in preparation and implementation of electronic live performance
techniques using suitable software and hardware. The module will incorporate a variety of contemporary live
performance methodologies, theories and practices and will result in a performance at a live event during
the year. You will learn approaches to the performance of live electronic music, practical real-time software
techniques, performing with controllers and sensors, live electronics, theories of performance, listening
and composition, Interactive music systems and the use of visuals in live performance.
