Outline Presentation (20%) Students to propose their ideas including individual job roles and responsibilities and targets for the project to a panel,

Coursework (80%) comprising:
Development portfolio (50%) Documentation of the activities undertaken; planning and proposals, meetings and correspondents alongside pictures, video, audio recordings etc. which outline the work undertaken in achieving the outcome set out in the proposal.

Evaluation (30%) Individual written comparative analysis of the work undertaken

Module Indicative Content
You will undertake a substantial entrepreneurial activity, which you will formulate and propose at the initial assessment stage. Typical activities could include Artist Selection & Development, Event & Artist Promotion, Product Design etc. You will work in groups, collaboratively and as individuals to ensure the success of the defined goals. Communication and team working will be essential.
Case studies will be presented to provide a guide to what is achievable and a series of formal lectures provided to cover aspects of industry legislation and recognised techniques.
This module builds on the previous modules CE00141-4 Music Business and CE70050-5 Event Management, Promotion & Marketing to allow you to begin establishing your position as a music industry professional.
