Production and performance of a suitable multichannel composition (50%) assessing learning outcomes 1 and 3
A 15 minute presentation of key elements of your work (20%) assessing learning outcome 2 and 3
A 1500 word report (30%) assessing learning outcome 2
Module Indicative Content
1. The use of object based programming environments to create original interactive compositions and control live performances.
2. Algorithmic techniques for generating audio and composing music including software design and development.
3. Multichannel spatialisation and diffusion techniques and related technologies.
4. Sound processing and manipulation techniques.

Module Special Admissions Requirements
Students should have studied an introductory module in composition and performance at undergraduate level or have appropriate prior experience.
