INDICATIVE CONTENT
This 60 Credit Module is divided into four distinct study areas. The study areas are:
- Research
- Synthesis
- Application
- Evaluation
You will be involved in the generation, implementation and evaluation of a project which will be based upon clear proposals with specific criteria. You will be expected to develop innovative ideas in response to your clearly defined brief addressing a specific sector within interior design.
This practice-based assignment will include a substantial theoretical or written element. The proportion of theory to practice is variable and will be agreed with you by your tutor. Your work must, however, contain an element of critical evaluation. You are required to produce a portfolio of work as outlined in the module handbook.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Delivery is by tutor input with independent study time within the studio environment. There is a comprehensive resource handbook on the VLE for reference along with examples of best practice and project templates. Tutors and practising designers will be available to support candidates through this project.
