ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT
Poster presentation

Students will create a poster showcasing a healthcare scenario where professionals work together to provide safe patient care. This will be selected from a choice of scenarios provided by the academic team. The poster should highlight the roles of different healthcare staff and how they collaborate effectively. Students will then present this poster. The presentation should last ten minutes, with five minutes of questions. This will assess Learning outcomes 1 and 3

Simulation

Students will undertake a simulated patient interaction where they will demonstrate a range of fundamental practical skills. Students will then be expected to reflect on their performance, identifying areas they did well, those that could be improved and any aspects they would do differently. This will be underpinned by a robust rubric to support a clear marking process. This will assess Learning Outcomes 1 and 2
LEARNING STRATEGIES
Learning will consist of lead lectures, simulations and seminars. It will be supplemented with online study materials and practical sessions.
