There are currently 5 cancer care courses available, with further courses in development. Students can select any 3 courses to study.
Each course comprises 4 to 8 modules, with directed activities and self-assessed multiple choice questions, the results of which are recorded in the Learning Record and Learning Log.
The content of each course comprises an introduction to the cancer being studied; related anatomy and physiology and patho-physiology; diagnostic procedures; treatment programmes and the nursing care of patients with the cancer.
