Module Additional Assessment Details
A presentation of 20 mins duration which may be delivered on-line or in person. Using an example from clinical practice, demonstrate your understanding of your role in the care of an individuals with two or more health issues. This should also consider the impact of your role on the individual and others who may be involved. To meet all learning outcomes.
Module Indicative Content
The overall aim is to focus on a person centred assessment – incorporating a range of clinical assessment approaches. The holistic nursing approach will include individualised Risk assessment approaches, focussing upon an introduction to managing risks such as self -harm, suicide and violence.

An introduction to your role in the care and treatment of individuals with a variety of mental health issues, including Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis, Dementia.

Utilising a range of communication theories, including Person Centred Care – Trauma informed – social inclusion – recovery focused and the importance of Multi- disciplinary working and communication. Nursing in a range of settings, and the variations in the organisation of patient care within these. Safeguarding vulnerable people.
