ASSESSMENT DETAILS
The practice assessment document assesses achievement of required NMC proficiencies for Part 1 (LO1). This will include the professional values in practice and the medicines management for this part, these are detailed in the PAD.
The Practice Assessor and student will identify an appropriate episode of direct care involving meeting the needs of a person/family receiving care. Professionalism underpins all aspects of the student's performance. This is assessed and graded in practice (LO2, LO3).
BOTH PARTS MUST BE PASSED.
There is a non-compulsory formative episode of care in this PAD that can be used in preparation for the summative assessment.
