The course is designed for nurses registered on Part 1,2,3 of the NMC Professional Register
Who are employed in a General Practice setting or who have access to a clinical placement within a General Practice setting

Module Additional Assessment Details
The written assignment comprises 2,000 words on analysis of the role of the practice nurse in relation to health promotion. (learning outcomes1,2,and 3)
The learning log and competency framework (pass/fail) is a comprehensive document which utilises Steinaker and Bell's taxonomy to determine that students are able to participate in the main aspects of practice nursing. Students must achieve the level of 'Participation' in all elements of the competency framework. (learning outcome 4)
Students must pass both parts of the assessment
Formative assessment / Feedback: tutorial, student discussion, (by email / appointment)
