Module Indicative Content
This module aims to

Enable learners to explore change management, team working and leadership theories and develop the related skills of communication, innovation, negotiation and recognising stress.

- Identify challenges and resistance to change.
- Change management, leadership and team working theories
- Audit and project skills
- Role of change agents and champions for specific areas, for instance dignity in health care
- Prochaska and DiClemente stages of change model
- Sustaining change in dynamic care environments
Module Additional Assessment Details
A seminar presentation (contributes to meeting LO's 1-4) 100% weighting

Additional Assessment Details (including formative feedback / assessment:
30 minute seminar presenting the identified change, the process involved in initiating the change, plans to sustain the change best practice is supported through the change.

Formative assessment will include:
- Keeping of a reflective journal which will form the basis of work based and classroom discussions
- Individual and group tutorials
- Formative seminar presentation to peers
