Module Additional Assessment Details
Students will be expected to design and undertake a 15 minute presentation (plus 5 minutes for questions) of a case study that shows your understanding of both the physical and the mental health aspects of care.
The presentation will demonstrate how you have addressed and met the module learning outcomes and will be performed in front of an assessor on a specified date and time.

Pathophysiology – common problems related to body systems (from an acute and a chronic perspective) across the life span. To include:

End of life care and care of the bereaved
Psychological aspects of and mental health across the lifespan

The role of humanities in care
Current issues in Child Mental Health
Clinical assessment to include assessment of deterioration (child/ adult / mental health) and the use of relevant assessment tools
