WEB DESCRIPTOR
This module aims to build your knowledge, experience and skills around children’s nursing care with a specific focus upon practical skills and reflective practice. The module links to practice learning period 6 and the progression into the final year of the course. You will undertake study related to the underpinning theory around common practical skills related to children’s nursing care alongside having the opportunity to develop those practical skills by undertaking simulated practice within the University Skills and Simulation Labs. You will continue to develop an understanding of evidence-based practice and practical skills that are required to fulfil the role of the children’s nurse.
