Physiology and pathophysiology of the respiratory system; diagnosis and management of COPD; the application and interpretation of lung function tests; inhaler technique; patient education; therapeutic management of acute exacerbations; collaborative working for optimal patient care; review of guidelines and political drives influencing COPD; review of evidence based nursing care; monitoring and evaluation of care; patient perception of intervention.
Module Additional Assessment Details
A reflective CASE STUDY length 3000 words.
The written case study relates to the assessment and delivery of quality care for a patient with COPD focusing on collaborative working (addresses all LO's)
