Module Learning Strategies
This module is student and work-based centred and designed around individual student need and aims. The majority of the learning hours for this module are work-based and are located within the independent study hours (142), which will also include underpinning reading and compilation of the portfolio of evaluative evidence. Student contact hours (8) are based upon a series of three workshops, explaining and exploring the methods of achieving the module outcomes. In addition, there will be the opportunity to access group and individual tutorial support, in order to develop the evidence within the portfolio.
Module Indicative Content
This module provides practitioners with the opportunity to demonstrate the development and enhancement of their clinical practice, through critical reflection, via a work-based learning approach. It is a vehicle by which individual practitioners can demonstrate how they are keeping up-to-date with professional and practice developments. It will enable practitioners to establish evidence of practice learning and competence enhancement, from work-based activities, which could also be used for renewal of professional registration.
This module allows practitioners to demonstrate how their enhanced knowledge and skills have impacted on patient/client care.
Module Additional Assessment Details
