8. National and local drivers
Plus additional sessions to launch the module, the assessment and facilitate discussion related to the assessment

This level 6 module introduces you to the the concept of dementia and the impact a diagnosis of dementia has on the individual, carers and professionals involved in the provision of care. Throughout the eight week module there are a range of subject areas to explore including biology of dementia, different types of dementia diagnosis, understanding behaviours, and national and local policies which can influence care and services.
